From Douala to pan-African platforms: how ASSO+ became one of the most promising digital solutions in the Cameroonian fintech ecosystem.
Douala, September 2, 2025 – Cameroonian fintech company Faroty had the honor of hosting the team from the pan-African channel Afrique Média at its headquarters for the filming of a video segment dedicated to the country's innovative startups.
This meeting highlighted ASSO+, the digital application developed by Faroty to simplify the financial management of associations and tontines (informal savings groups). Designed to address everyday challenges such as tracking contributions, organizing meetings, and ensuring financial transparency, the app transforms these tasks into a clear, secure, and fully digitized process.
A Meeting Rich in Exchange
Following a welcome address by Faroty's Communications Manager, the CEO, Mr. Théophile TCHUIMBOU, reiterated the fintech's vision and mission: to make finance more accessible, inclusive, and secure for all communities.
The segment also provided a platform for the Product Manager, Morelle Carelle MANFOUO, to detail ASSO+'s key features and present the concrete benefits for users, demonstrating how the application meets the needs of associations in a context where digitalization is becoming essential.
Subsequently, Mr. Thibaut TSAGUE, CTO of Faroty, spoke about the importance of security and traceability—two essential pillars for building lasting trust in the collective management of finances.
It is also worth highlighting the role of Ms. ADA, Operations Manager, who coordinated the smooth running of the exchanges with the Afrique Média team.
A Segment to Be Broadcast Soon
Under the coordination of journalist Léa DJEUGA, the filming crew captured key moments that will soon be broadcast on Afrique Média's channels, offering an exceptional showcase for Faroty and its ASSO+ application within the Cameroonian startup ecosystem.
This event provides a unique opportunity to highlight ASSO+'s role in the digital transformation of associations and tontines in Cameroon, while underscoring Faroty's commitment to supporting local innovation towards broader adoption.
